Total viewFrontage cut-outDatasheetProjectinformation
In 1658, during the reconstruction period after the Thirty Years’ War, the house at Meininger Str. 97 was one of the first to be erected in Heinrichs. On Ocotber 16, 1634, the invading Croatians under the command of general Isolani plundered amongst other things the entire buildings. Only the church building together with the vicarage were spared.

The building ensemble consists of the main house (1658), one side house out of the early 18th century and a barn (newly erected upon old building in about 1900).

The first floor’s Fachwerk construction was almost completely aslope due to insufficient creation and accompanying settling. In the upper floor serious interferences were made over the last centuries. The yard facing access balcony was removed. After the almost entire gutting the Fachwerk construction was leveled out. The yard facing side was raised about almost 50cm. Then the lumbers were repaired, replacing missing ones with reconstructions. The partitions were filled with wood-clay bricks and covered on the exterior with lime-hemp render as insulation render. The interior was covered with clay render beneath a lime render.

The window and door design refers to the original shape. Though it does meet modern requirements considering thermal and noise insulation. The principals got awarded with the Thuringia monument award.
