Housing complex in Suhl | rebuilding, refurbishment

48 apartments and 11 business units with an overall living area of 2,906m² were reconstructed at Friedrich-König-Straße 23 – 33. An equal apartment inventory can be found in the buildings 35 – 45. There are six business units and a living area of 2,729m².

Goal of the total reconstruction was a significant improvement of the appearance, the rise in living comfort, a better cleading and the assurance of fire protection, the replacement of house automation with up to date facilities and the implementation of functional needs of the business units. The basic idea of the concept is a strict vertical layout of the stretched building structure according to existing segmentation.

Break off partly existing balconies and rebuild them with non-heated external glass surface

Replacement of electrical installations in kitchen and bathroom, of supply lines, of electric meter places and fuse boxes
Modernization of any water and sewer pipes
Entire equipment with electric cookers (formerly gas stoves)
Reshaping of open areas
